About Me
I was born in the coastal city of Alexandria, Egypt. Throughout my childhood, I lived in various places before eventually settling in Egypt with my family, where I completed my secondary education at AlManar Scottish School. I went on to earn a Bachelor of Arts in English Language and Literature from Beirut Arab University, which marked the beginning of my teaching career at the university level.
After two years, I discovered a stronger passion for working with younger learners in international school settings. In 2019, I completed a Postgraduate Certificate in Education (International) from the University of Nottingham, UK.
With more than two decades of teaching experience, my goal has consistently been to contribute to top-tier international schools, helping students reach their full potential through effective communication, integration of technology, and a strong understanding of adolescent psychology and wellbeing.
Area of Special Interest
I trained as both a Primary Teacher and an English Language Teacher. Over time, I have developed a strong interest in leadership, which led me to pursue the NPQSL to gain a formal leadership qualification. I am particularly passionate about addressing challenges related to adolescent psychology and supporting children’s individual learning needs to inspire their curiosity and drive to apply knowledge and skills. Currently, I am leading Global Citizenship at MISY, where I have the opportunity to promote global awareness and student engagement across the school community.
