About Me
I am a Myanmar citizen with a dedicated career in education that began following my graduation from the University in 2003. I joined the MISY community in 2009, starting as a Nursery teacher. Seven years ago, I transitioned to the EAL Department, where I took on the role of Literacy Support Teacher for Key Stage 1. This academic year marks my sixth year teaching EAL for both Key Stage 1 and 2.
I hold a Bachelor of Arts in English from Dagon University and am a CELTA-certified educator. Additionally, I have earned certificates in Cambridge Primary English as a Second Language, Jolly Phonics and Grammar, and GrapeSEED. I also hold Diplomas in English Language Teaching (ELT) from the University of East Yangon and Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) from the London Teacher Training College.
Area of Special Interest

As a second language learner of English myself, I am passionate about enhancing students’ literacy skills and understanding how these skills support their emotional and academic growth. I often draw on my own childhood experiences of learning English to design engaging lessons that help students overcome challenges and fully develop their literacy abilities.
