About Me
I come with a deep appreciation for how Mathematics helps students think critically, solve problems creatively, and understand the world around them. I aim to create a classroom environment that is structured, supportive, and engaging where students feel encouraged to ask questions, explore ideas, and build confidence in their learning journey.
Joining MISY is an exciting step for me, and I look forward to growing professionally and contributing positively to the school’s vibrant learning community.
Area of Special Interest

My key areas of interest include inquiry-based learning, mathematical modelling, and the use of technology to enhance student understanding. I enjoy designing lessons that connect Mathematics to real-life scenarios, and I am particularly passionate about helping learners overcome anxiety around the subject. Outside of the classroom, I have a strong interest in music and enjoy exploring creative and interdisciplinary approaches to learning.

Education
Bachelor’s in Mathematics – University of Mumbai, India
Bachelor’s in Education – Somaiya University, India
Experience
Prior to joining MISY, I have taught Mathematics at the secondary level with a focus on the IGCSE curriculum, working closely with students across both KS3 and KS4. My teaching has emphasized building conceptual clarity, encouraging inquiry, and supporting students to approach problem-solving with confidence and curiosity.
Beyond academics, I’ve contributed to the broader school community through leadership roles, including serving as a House Master. I’ve also led student clubs and creative initiatives, drawing from my background in music to engage learners beyond the classroom and foster a well-rounded educational experience.
