About Me
I’m originally from the U.K. and grew up in the maritime port of Kingston Upon Hull. My heritage is British, Burmese (Rangoon), and Indian (Tamil Nadu), which has shaped my global outlook and deepened my appreciation for diverse cultures.
Since 2015, I’ve been dedicated to teaching—a path that naturally evolved from my work with global charities across Southeast Asia, focusing on children’s education.
I am a creative at heart, with training in classical music, theatre, and photography, in addition to my academic studies. I view drama, in particular, as a powerful way to develop communication skills and public speaking confidence — essential abilities for success in most career paths. As a teacher of English, I enjoy creative writing and encouraging students to expand their critical thinking about written work. I am currently writing my first novel set in Myanmar.
Area of Special Interest
I have a strong interest in mental health and student well-being. I’m passionate about supporting individual needs and creating inclusive spaces where all students can thrive emotionally and academically. By combining creativity with a focus on well-being, I aim to help learners grow in both confidence and self-expression.
