About Me
Over the past decade, I have taught in Indonesia, Uganda, and Myanmar, and I am delighted to reside in the bustling city of Yangon.
Preparing students for success in their collegiate & post-scholastic endeavors is my fundamental goal as an educator. Most importantly, I understand the importance of not seeing my students as one entity but as individuals with diverse learning needs.
Throughout the school day, when not in the classroom, I enjoy participating in extracurricular activities with students and can often be found by the basketball court, ping-pong table, or playing a casual chess game.
Area of Special Interest
I believe tomorrow’s students need new skills for the coming century that will make them ready to collaborate with others globally. Today’s youth should be world citizens with an open, global mentality. Therefore, I build my lessons on collaboration and critical thinking because future jobs will require innovation, creativity, and the ability to envision the outcome and explore alternative approaches to achieve it.
