About Me
With nearly a decade of teaching experience, I bring passion, purpose, and a global perspective to the classroom. After earning my PGCE from the University of Brighton in 2015–2016, I began my teaching journey in England before bringing my expertise overseas to MISY, where I’m proud to be entering my 7th year.
Geography, to me, is the scientific creation and story of our world. I believe it’s vital for students to understand the deep connections between local and global events, nature, cultures, and governments. It’s through this understanding that they become more informed, empathetic, and active global citizens. Humanities open doors for critical thinking and self-reflection, preparing students for the demands of AS/A Levels, University, and the complex world beyond that we discuss in our daily lives past academics, which are embodied and debated within all years at MISY.
Area of Special Interest
Beyond the classroom, I’m also a passionate sports coach and have taught KS3 History, IGCSE and AS/A Level Global Perspectives. When I’m not teaching, you’ll find me reading fantasy novels or lost in the world of music — with J.R.R. Tolkien as my all-time literary hero.
