About Me
I am from India, and this is my sixteenth year of teaching and interacting with the lovely students of MISY.
Qualified and trained to teach Physics, I enjoy inspiring young people to be curious about the world they live in, to develop a passion for science in general and physics in particular.
I have taught secondary school students for over 25 years in Brunei, Thailand and Myanmar and look forward to another year of working along with the committed team at MISY.
Area of Special Interest
In addition to over 2 decades of school teaching, I have had the opportunity to meet and work with equally interesting people in many other fields; the digital publishing and ebook industry, database management of electronic medico-legal documents in the insurance industry, management information systems of e-commerce projects, coaching remote trouble shooters in the computer industry, all aspects of managing a wholesaling business in the automobile spare parts industry, and a brief stint in the banking industry.
I draw on these varied experiences to make effective cross curricular links when I teach, to make lessons interesting, and most importantly to point out the need to acquire multiple skills in a dynamic and fast changing world, not merely from a survival standpoint but to build rich memories for a meaningful and well lived life.
