About Me

I greatly enjoy travel and working in different locations. This gives me opportunities to gain deeper insights into the people and the unique culture of each country. I enjoy sport including yoga, tennis and salsa dancing.I’d like to improve my Myanmar language whilst here and take up piano lessons again.

Experience
I commenced my career in Primary education in London, working across all primary key stages. This gave me the opportunity to take on roles such as Sports Coordinator and School Council Lead Teacher. Additionally I worked as a school SENCo supporting my school through a successful Ofstead report. 
My International career began in Melbourne, Australia. There I worked as an EAL teacher initially then as a teacher who supported adolescent students with Mental Health issues within an acute facility. 
I then worked for the British Council on their English Language Teacher Development project in Malaysia as a Mentor for local teachers. 
Following this project I then commenced my teaching roles in international schools in Myanmar.
