About Me
I was born and raised in Kenya and embarked on my teaching career in international schools after completing my music education in Finland. I hold a Bachelor of Music degree from Kenyatta University, TEFL course and a PGCEi from Liverpool John Moores University, which has enhanced my teaching skills and effectiveness in international educational settings.
With over a decade of experience teaching music in international schools across Kenya, Tanzania, and the Democratic Republic of Congo, I am now in my fifth year at Myanmar International School Yangon. Here, I am delighted to share my passion for music and my expertise with our vibrant students and school community.
I have a deep passion for music and thrive in diverse cultural environments worldwide and understand the Music needs of students in all Major Examination Boards including Cambridge, IB, Trinity Music and ABRSM.
In my free time, I enjoy performing music, producing music, sports and athletics, and exploring functional music through reading and listening.
Area of Special Interest
As a passionate Musician, and examiner, I hold interests in motivating young music enthusiasts into great musicians in musicology, performances and compositions. My special interest is in  learning foreign languages, integrating music technology  into whole-school learning, Music curriculum development,  Physical Education, leadership in performance arts and computer programming languages.
