About Me

As a Social Science and Humanities leader and teacher (UK and abroad), I have many years teaching experience and subject specialist knowledge in the subjects of the Social Sciences and Humanities, and other related subjects.  I am self-motivated, professional and have been able to provide inspiring learning opportunities, underpinned by a lifelong and holistic learning philosophy, for students in my care.  Throughout my career I have been fortunate enough to have lived and worked in a variety of places, from regions in England, to countries such as China, Singapore and Saudi Arabia.

Area of Special Interest

My interests include travel, culture and International Relations, following them allowed me to visit and acquire first-hand knowledge about many regions and countries across the world. I have a commitment to lifelong learning, and apply this commitment to myself; this has then been used to further aid my teaching and the holistic learning experience of my students.

Other interests include, the arts, photography and a range of media, I enjoy a number of sports as a spectator and playing, with favourite being tennis.

Education

I am originally from London, England and have a BA from the University of the West of England, Bristol, and an MA from the University of Hull. I completed my PGCE in Social Sciences and the Humanities at the Institute of Education, University of London.
