About Me
I began teaching Physics and Maths in a Comprehensive School in the UK in 1982. I left the UK in 1986 to begin a career in international schools and worked as a teacher in Tanzania and France then as a Principal in Germany, Indonesia, Vietnam China and Uzbekistan.
I enjoy travelling and living in new cultures so I am very happy to have been living here in Myanmar for the past 3 years. My eldest daughter is starting her PGCE course in the UK after 5 years of teaching overseas, and the youngest is working in hospitality in Vietnam.
In my spare time I enjoy kite-surfing, running, gym and Latin dancing.

As a school leader I have been focused on how children learn best and what we should be teaching in this new information age where any form of knowledge is available at the flick of a screen, as well as what skills are necessary for the workplace and society 10-15 years from now.
